The horizontal air separation is a heavy duty windsifter which can achieve effective segregation of light materials in various solid waste treatment and resource recycling fields, such as domestic waste, construction waste and aged waste.
Sorting materials: light materials such as: plastic bags, woven bags, paper; heavy materials (density and specific gravity of the mixture of large differences in material).
The horizontal air separation consists of centrifugal fan, separating unit of rotating drum, belt conveyor, and connected settling chamber. The equipment works in accordance with the principle of aerodynamics, using controlled airflow as a medium to bring the lighter materials (such as paper, plastic bags, film, etc.) of the selected material upward or take them away farther in the horizontal direction according to the density and the particle size, while the heavy materials fall down or throw out in nearer distance in the horizontal direction due to the inertia.
